Engine Blew Up. Time To Rebuild.

Alternator bearing broke, shot a hole through the block. Might as well rebuild the f'er. but first I gotta take it apart. heres some pictures. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

nah i'm just gonna take it apart, get a new short block, get all performance parts for the whole engine and get 300 hp all engine or at least try.

thats what i thought. thank youuu. and when i have a compression of 14:1 and get an all new skunk2 valve train with skunk2 cams and skunk2 intake manifold, along with a supercharger eventually im pretty sure i cna get 350 hp at least

cmon, its everything d-series, whats not to love, really tho, its an ok site, i spend more time here than anywhere, but it has a lot of good info about all things d-series, if i cant find it here, i can find it there

Max HP out of a D is 250? Are you talking just N/A with a blower? 250 is easy with FI man, whether it's turbo or an SC.

No biggie Steve. I have no idea how to work with two cams, have only ever fucked with SOHC Hondas, so I don't want to stray from my comfort zone.
