Looks like he didn't redline all the gears, looked like he was shifting around 7000rpm, still had a bit of a ways to go, maybe that'd account for any lag.

you didnt say you built it, but you certainly led us to believe you did. everyone pretty much thought that you built it...how'd we all make the same mistake?

plus i asked how much the project cost you...why wouldnt you say "i have no idea, i didnt build it...i just bought it as is" ?

One big reason not to post the build and the prices that the guy gave to you on all this stuff is because of theives. If I was a thief and saw this post, I would look up where you lived in an instant if you know what I mean. People hesitate at times to put up pics when they are selling their car because of so many thefts directly from *******s on Honda-tech fiding cars for sale. Good luck and I would get the best alarm ever with pager shocker etc. Im sure you paid quite a grip on this badboy and insurance does not like to cover anything past a 92 honda civic with 160k on it. Trust me, when I had my EG i came very close to loosing her and the 6k it was worth was only worth 3k to the insurance company.
