I just wrote off my fully loaded (everything but leather) 05 sedan with similar mileage back in December, and I got about $3500.
Yours being an 02 they might not give you as much because its older.
And insurance companies aren't going to care about your mods in terms of value.

Evidently the car is special 2002 hardtop no moonroof. And it's got racing suspension motor all tricked out I'll post a pic after it's fixed. Yeah my body shop is telling me he can't hardly get work cause the insurance company's are totalling older cars. Probably something to do with government? The car is not that bad,I guess I'll pay insurance a little more to increase payoff if accident cause the motor is worth more then the car. Like classic car insurance? To play u pay! Damm 🦌 deer! Didn't even get to find the deer I would have ate her for dinner haha. Keep on racing and fixing my friends. Thanks Sam SMUA

Oh I forgot they are adding the carbon hood in their estimate so I hope it's a little better $. Thanks guys. I haven't heard from claims yet We don't have many civic's like mine in south va. Luv the Site.

mods will not increase the value, the insurance company won't care what was done to the car, they will treat it like any other stock civic unless the mods are all clearly stated on the insurance policy in writing

You got good money in hand. I believe you can buy back your totaled car from your insurance company for few hundreds and try to rebuild it, but if you don't have time/storage space just let it go. Before they take your car, it's great to remove valuable mod so you can sell it or put on next car if you decided to get the same car.
