Rep Power: 0 Name this type of screw/part
Hello, I had the dealership check a noise on my car (for free) and they had to remove the steering pump and some other stuff. I popped my hood before I left the dealership and noticed there was a hole where it looks like a screw is missing or like a cap with a thread. I would of noticed this hole when i popped my hood the other day to listen to the noise I was getting. Honda guy argued that nothing goes there....So what is the name of this that goes here.
Edit: The threads look really clean in that hole, am I just losing it?
Actually I think I am just losing it....can anyone confirm that nothing goes there?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

^right^
The bolt was removed when the aftermarket air breather was installed.
