Installing red emblems question

I realize it's not cool anymore and way too rice but up here in Seattle I've rarely (only once) seen a red emblem on a Civic (or any Honda) in the past 3-4 years I've been here.

So, I searched all the threads I could find and seem to have come down to two different OEM emblems for the FRONT:

-Accord emblem (part#75700-S5T-E01; thanks to ateens4)
-Civic Type R 07-09 emblem (or maybe all 3rd gen, which is 07-11; thanks to 04 Honda Civic)

And for the REAR:

-NSX emblem (part#75701-S1A-E11ZB -- thanks to ateens4)

So, my questions are:

1. Has anyone else tried both of the front emblems listed above and found one or the other to really be a perfect fit (not counting the pins in the rear)?

2. Is 3M emblem/trim adhesive the best way to attach? Amazon has two types which seem the same but have different part numbers and not sure which (if either) is better:

3. The emblems all have the pins in the back it seems which likely won't match up with the holes (if any) are in the EM2 Civics. Is it a good idea, and has anyone tried, to drill new holes to use the pins to attach them?

Thanks!

Honda red emblems come with adhesive backing so you won't need adhesive. The pins can be cut if they don't align and they hold fine

Thank you. I got the 75700-S5T-E01 emblem off ebay and it appears to be real and the size seems to fit the front, although the pins will need to be removed like you mentioned. The thing is that there isn't a lot of area for the adhesive to stick to on the grille so I'm not sure I'll even bother, especially since I would only want to do it if on front and rear, and the rear seems to be problematic since no emblems will lie flat and I don't want it to look too ghetto...
