Re: bmxa question

Off the top of my head:
When we get a factory reman trans for a 7th gen, there is a filter that comes with it to be installed in the line between the drivers side radiator fitting and the trans, and it is intended to catch any failure debris that was trapped in the cooler so it doesn't harm the new trans.

That would make the drivers side of the radiator trans cooler the return side and the pass. side the pressure side. (As long as nobody got the lines switched backwards at the trans.)

Does that help?

Depends on what you want done to the fluid.

The stock cooler also designed to act as a fluid warmer since it picks up heat from hot antifreeze to help the trans warm up faster (the trans can take a lot longer to warm up than the engine does).

You gonna tow a boat or anything?

On Pilots and Odysseys that got a Honda accessory trailer hitch and cooler kit, the path is:
Trans --> new cooler --> radiator --> trans

Then on yours I'd stick the filter in there like
Trans --> new cooler --> radiator --> filter --> trans

also droped tranny out from bottom had to remove sub frame, replacing lower control arms (bad bushing) and motor mounts. tie rods are good. i'm asuming i need an alignment but not sure. spindals are out
Since you got it that far apart, I'd definitely align it.

HTH
