Alight so I finally did the last bid of wrenching on my 01 civic
I decided to part the 03 coupe so I could fix my 03 sedan and have parts for the 01
On the 01 civic coupe
I have replaced ball joints
Sway bar links
Lower control arms
New hub bearings
New Tie rod ends
New brakes
Moved over newer struts and mounts from 03
New sway bar bushings
Replaced fenders and bumper cover
New plugs
New air filter
Valve cover gasket
Cam seal cover
New radiator
New thermostat
Fresh coolant
Fresh oil
Fresh power steering fluid
Newer tires (from the 03)
Compressor from 03
New condensor
Headlights (new)
Newer battery
All hubcaps in place
New 02 sensors
Yes I have spent way way way to much on this car but
Needless to say it drives smooth as silk now and is back in the condition it ought to be
Now down to the small things
Just got to get it painted a friend and I tried the duplicolor paint shop but it just doesn't look good
Might try one more time myself before having it done right
The 03 coupe I am still in the process of harvesting
I wish I had the skillset to remove the windshield and put it in my other 03 that's cracked but dunno how.
The 03 coupe is going to goto the scrap yard soon I am in the process or removing trim and other parts that want to move to the 01 if you need or want something from an 03 coupe with spoiler speak now!!!
One thing that I did find odd
01 no rear sway bar nor holes to mount it
03 has one
I am about to swap over the airbags and control module from the 03 coupe to 03 sedan (parts verified by friend at honda dealer)
The vtec she has put in the 03 Lx is still sitting covered in the carport the girl who sold me the coupe still hasn't gotten around to picking it up...
(Full harness and ecu attached)
So today I am having a five wheel alignment done and then I am going to charge the Ac (compressor and condensor changed) new seals were also done

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Finally... Alignment day from 3 to 2 7 gen
So today I am having a five wheel alignment done
Other places only offer 2 and 4 wheel alignments.
