Hello Civic forum, I am new here and come to you all with a question about an issue I am having. A buddy of mine owns a 2001 EX 5spd that is having a bit of a problem. Clutch pedal is going right to floor and not returning. The MC was run completely dry. I put a slave cylinder in it for him with hopes of fixing the issue. I bled it at the slave with steady fluid multiple times, still no pedal. Upon further inspection I noticed the line from MC to slave cylinder was worn through by some lame cone filter that was installed by the previous owner on the rubber line between both hard lines. I replaced the rubber line and bled at the slave again with steady fluid, still no pedal. At this point my next step in the morning will be to bench bleed the MC. Before I do so, I figured I would see if anyone had any other suggestions as to what is going on here before I do because I really don't feel like pulling the MC out. Any ideas??
