just a question but need a answer about jacking the civic.in the.right place

I recently got a cat back and a 3 ton jack but i dont know where to put the jack underneath my civic should i put it under the axle. What im thinking is to put the front end up on ramps and the.back on the jack whats ur opinion where should i put the jack so i can install the catback

just curious what "axle" are you referring to?.....but the answer is no

there are two jack points on each side of the car basically between the front and rear wheels, this information should be in your owners manual or maybe even on the jack that came with your car,

no offense, but if your asking a question like this do you really think you are able to perform the task at hand?

and for the love of God, DO NOT be crawling under a car that is only supported be a jack, thats a death wish,

the car needs to be safely supported on BOTH SIDES using JACK STANDS

The cup of my 3 ton fits nicely over the area provided for the stock jack front and rear.

That's what I use.

here are the jacking points attached; on the rear you can jack at the tow hook. also the whole edgy line at both sides of the car is very solid so you can jack and place jackstands anywhere along it
