EM2 K20A2 Swap Cruise Control? From Scotland!
Hi guys.
I am from the UK and this is my EM2
Anyway in the UK the EM2 does not come with cruise control at all. I am considering swapping to a K20A2 using a UKDM Civic Type R. These cars also did not come with cruise control.
The only car I can see with a K20A2 that came with cruise control is the RSX-S.
My question is can the RSX-S ECU be used with the UKDM Civic Type R, as in this case I could use the RSX Type-S ECU and cruise control parts.

I thought the Euro Civic Type R came with the K20A not K20a2 if that is the case i don't think the computers will be compatable without a flash/kpro

Is the RSX Type S not a K20A2 engine anyway? In which case, yeah it should all be a direct swap. Get the engine set up and to a stable idle before you even touch cruise control though.
I've never actually thought about it before but you might even be able to program cruise control into a standard aftermarket ECU seeing as you'll probably struggle finding one around here. Don't hold me to that statement though...
