Rep Power: 0 Tein S Tech on Civic 03 Ex, will the back sag?
So I got the Tein S Tech springs & I'm about to install them but before I do I want to make sure the back won't sag. I've looked all over the place & can't find any pictures of 03 Civic Ex Sedans with S Techs on em? I want a nice even look, 1.5'' drop in the front & in the back. Anybody got pictures or info???

Why would the back sag? Do you have 300+ lbs of stuff in your trunk? I'm pretty sure Tein designed the springs to have a pretty even drop.
That being said, are you replacing your shocks at the same time?

It doesn't sag, it gives the illusion that the drop is uneven because the wheel gap in the back is smaller then the front. It's more noticeable when the car is dropped because there is less of a fender gap. Yes the springs drop the car an even amount but at stock ride height the fender gap in the front is larger then in the rear. Springs with a larger drop in the front will even it out more.
Now strut choice may make a difference depending on where the spring perch is located. I know Koni's you can move the spring perch so you could potentially use that to even the drop out. I had Tokico D-Specs with Sportline springs (1.5" drop) and my sedan sat lower in the rear.

Thanks for the picture & the quick reply, that's exactly what i was looking for! I'm going on OEM struts for right now. Maybe putting a rubber spacer will make the back even with the front.

Yes the rubber spacer will work. I was going to do that, but then I bought coilovers.
I was on OE struts for a week or so before ordering Tokico's and it sat at the same height in the rear with both. I think you can get the rubber spacers from local parts stores.
