Hello everyone
I recently found what I though was a good deal on Craigslist it is an 01 civic ex 117k miles. Only problem is the owner thinks the transmission is out. I have not seen the car in person. If it is the transmission and I don't end up doing it myself how much am I looking to spend for a reman and labor? The guy is asking 1800. From the pics it looks to be in pretty good shape. I think I can talk him down a little. I'm just not sure If it's worth it.

Prices will be different depending on the shop. Also a reman will probably be cheaper then a rebuild. It cost around 1300-1500 to have my wife's 01 Escort trans rebuilt. Call around and see what you can find.
