Rep Power: 0 2005 Honda Civic DX Disabling keyless entry horn.
I have a 2005 Honda Civic DX and have read everything on the manual and have searched everywhere on this forum but cannot find out how to Disable the keyless entry horn. If anyone knows how to do this your help would be much appreciated.

Is there a button under the steering column somewhere?
If not then there is probably a combo of buttons you have to press on the key fob to silence it.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: 2005 Honda Civic DX Disabling keyless entry horn.
Copied from the manual:
LOCK Button
When used alone, this button locks the
doors and flashes the parking lights once.
Note:
If the lock button is pressed for a second
time (within 5 seconds of the first push) the
horn will beep once and parking lights will
flash once to confirm the doors are locked.
So.....If you only push the button once, the horn doesn't beep.
