2001 Acura EL

Hi all.

I've got a 2001 Acura EL that I've owned since new. It's been our 2nd car for a few years and now this year been relegated to the third car. With the exception of a battery, brakes, timing belt, some clutch work done under warranty it has only seen oil changes. It has been dead nuts reliable and now in need of some TLC.
The question is, now that I want to start hunting for parts for this thing, what model of Civic does it emulate? Is there anything quirky about the EL that deviates from the Honda Civic lineup?

I'm in Calgary, Alberta if that matters.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: 2001 Acura EL

I hope the floods haven't affected you to much. Your car is pretty much compatible with any 2001-05 civic with a d17 motor. Everything except fenders, hood, fr/rear bumper covers, head/ tail lights, trunk is interchangeable. I live in kelowna, welcome to the site

Re: 2001 Acura EL

There is slight deviation. Your body panels differ slightly, different rims, grill, some interior pieces. Your rears should be discs not drums. Not really a huge difference between the 01-05 civic.
