Rep Power: 165 Better way to attach HID wiring
Right now I have my HID wiring attached with zip ties. However, I noticed that in at least one of the spots that a zip tie is placed there is some pretty bad rust now that I have to take care of. Can anyone think of a better way to secure these wires? I was thinking some good double sided tape might be enough but wanted to get some more ideas.

For my ballast I bolted them on with existing bolts.
I just zip tied the wires together and to the bumper.
You could use these. They may work better:

I don't want to splice in any new wires but since I'm taking the front end apart I might see if I could stash the ballasts in the bumper.
That square thing is interesting...I assume it's about the size of a pink eraser? What is it called?

Its called a Zip Tie mounting base or zip tie adhesive mount base. They come in different sizes most about 1"x1". Depending on the amount of lbs you need. Hardware store should have them. Radio Shack might also.
My ballests came with mounting brackets so I mounted them on the body:

I think mine came with some crappy mounting brackets but the thought of drilling into my car makes me cringe. I'm definitely going to look into those mounting bases though because they could potentially also allow me to keep the wiring out of sight as well as get rid of zip ties around the frame. Much appreciated!
