kswap into a em2

can anyone here help me, im in a middle of a kswap and the pulley(power steering) is sticking up a little too high does anyone here think i need to change my pulley as far as swapping one like going smaller so i can get me hood to shut or replacing my hood? thanks ppl

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. K20Z3?

Most people swap in a K20A2. You will likely run into more compatibility issues with this engine but it should be fairly similar. What are you going to run for ECU?

I'd cut the hood to be honest.. How far out are you?

Here read this and see what it says about the power steering pulley. He had to cut his too.

maybe an 1-1 1/2'' sticking up, im taking my time with this swap it only has 18,000 miles jdm. ecu is the issue which 1 will work for my car, theres lots of them out there, if you can plz provide me with a model or model #'s..thanks blue

There really aren't a lot of ECUs that WILL work with the setup that you have. In fact I only know of one:

But you need to make sure that it's the right model etc. I don't want to steer you the wrong way CONFIRM it will work before you buy.

Hey blue, went out and got me AEM EMS ECU spent about the same on it vs the Kpro, so now once i received it were back on the project to finish wrapping it up.one more question blue, what coilovers you suggest to put on my vehicle something in about the 800 range, thanks for your time...
