Hi there,
Please need your help here. I got honda Civic 2004 and am having problem with my meters. all the meters like speedo metere, gasoline, temperature and exelerator meters are going off and on. some times they remain off for number of days, and all of a sudden start functioning. What could be the problem. i had the car electrician to check the fuses they are all ok.
what need to be checked.
thanks.

I had this issue about 2 months ago. It was my alternator. Sounds like the voltage meter is bad, so as soon as your alternator hits a high/low voltage it shuts off the dash (speedo etc). I would have your alternator checked.... They may still say its good (as your issue is intermittent.... I took a video and brought it with me of all my gauges going on and off... I also did some metering and when the gauges went off it was over charging....

hope this helps
