on monday, I will be purchasing a 2004 honda civic VP Sedan. It has 111,000 miles and seems clean. Mind you I haven't driven it (will do on monday and could decided if I am really buying it or not). I will be paying 6000 with licensing and tax.

Here's a link to the car.
My concerns are, is it worth the price you think? Are 04' AT reliable?
I do prefer the AT for a DD as this area I live in ( WA state ) Honda's are all driven by teens and theft is high.( these are usually all "raced" out ),
Thanks guys!

at that mileage the car is currently due to have the timing belt replaced, so you should ask if that has already been done, if they say yes i would ask for proof with receipt....
if not, that is an expense you are going to have to incurr immediately....which is a fair chunk of money if you cant do it yourself....
i would call honda and ask for a price on timing belt replacement, then ask for at least half that off that price of the car.....

I went ahead and bought the car but also got a 2 yr 24k mile warrenty. It was honda certified and everything was in great condition with timing belt already changed at 90K miles.
Car drives smooth as butter and honestly feel super confident in this car. I'll post pictures later of minor defects in the paint.
