Talking odometer problem?

I have a 04 civic sedan lx I wanted to smash a bill fourty but my odometer won't go pass a 100 miles per hour, is there a speed sensor somewhere on the vehicle that i can detach in order to exelerate pass the 100 miles per hour ? Is there others have the same problems? further helps needed, thanks in advance.

Re: odometer problem?

you mean speedometer? Odometer tracks how many miles your car has gone..

Also, with a dx/lx, you won't be able to surpass 115mph. An ex model will get you to 135, that's bouncing off the rev limiter, mind you.
