Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan

Will I be ok under the hood if Im running about 750 watts running from the amp to sub? Do I need to install everything first and see if the lights are dimming? Ive thought about doing The Big 3 upgrade but is that necessary?? I would like to hear from people who have had systems in their Civics thanks guys

Get it installed, then see if you need to upgrade anything. I am not running that much power but my lights don't dim and my alternator keeps up with a 250 Watt system. Maybe someone else is pushing that much power.

Only 750? You should be fine. What kind of audio equipment are you using?

750 should be fine as long as you're not clipping it.

I would highly recommend the Big3 upgrade though

What does everyone think the max number of watts you can run is before you start running into problems?
