well ive been driving around with a cracked exhaust manifold for a while..its pretty annoying..i read somewhere on here that there was some warranty that extended it until 150,000 miles..i have an 02 lx with 127,xxx..i just want to know if this is still true or not since there hasnt been much on it..btw called the dealer and they didnt know anything and never called back..so i wanna hit them with this info if its true..thanks again!

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that there wasn't a warranty like that. There are issues with those manifolds but Honda refused to admit it. In my old LX I replaced mine after it cracked. Cheapest place to get the stuff is Ebay. I replaced it with a manifold/cat (1 piece) from seller amautoparts and the stuff was good quality. Tried to install myself but bolts had to be torched and some smaller ones cut out so a shop did it for $70.

Same issue.. cracked mani. Been driving on it for some time, I'll probably just get a used one at some junkyard

Yes there is an extended warranty for cracked manifolds BUT no it only covers older civics and not 7th gens.

Remove it and take it to a muffler shop and get it welded up. I got mine repaired for pretty cheap. No need to start buying new parts.

I took my 2001 in awhile back and they covered it under the emissions warranty. I think its 8 years?
