Chilton's or Haynes Manuals?

i currently have a few repairs i need to perform on my Civic and was wondering which manual was better. I have free access to the Chilton's database so i was going to use it, but i didnt know if there was a benefit to using Haynes. Any help would be helpful thanks!

Agree: Sucks donkey *****. Especially when you really need more info than "Remove all the bolts, remove the part. Reinstall in the reverse order of disassembly."

If you're not into paying $60 for a paper service manual you can get a service manual on disc or download really cheap on eBay.

Exactly, can't beat OEM.

Re: Chilton's or Haynes Manuals?

Buy stuff new enough, there may not BE factory manuals on paper anymore.

I grew up with paper.

Re: Chilton's or Haynes Manuals?

^^^ Those look like the factory manual pages. And it is searchable.

Yes, I was a holdout for paper manuals... and I still print and use quick reference manual booklets for our copiers.
