Window came off of slider!!!
So as i was leaving for PT this morning i push my window button and nothing happens, so i push it again but this time i hear a cracking noise and the motor running. The window doesnt go anywhere! Until i touch it and it slides down the door. So i turn around and go home to see what happened. Thats when i notice that the window is no longer connected to the slider! I finnaly get the window back in, but now i cannot open the window. I need help as to what to do to fix it. I think the motor was pushing the window too far up and over time it came loose from the glue, b/c the motor was pulling harder than it was supposed to. any one know how to re attach it to the slider?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Window came off of slider!!!
You mean the mounting tabs are no longer glued to the glass?
Real rare for me to deal with it, but I have on occasion.
What I do:
Go to the guys that deal with glass every day.
Get a hold of an auto glass shop.
They have neat stuff to rebond plastic to glass.
Mark where the tabs need to go.
Carry all the parts in, let them glue it up.
Make sure you got it right, there's no do-overs once it's glued.
Carry it home.
Let the glue cure.
(If the glass run channel seal is all screwed up, now is the time to replace it.)
Reinstall.
Joy.
