Philips XP bulbs

I remember Gearbox talking about how great these bulbs are. Well yesterday one of my fog lights goes out, and this morning, a headlight. So I purchased a cheap 9006 bulb and it's crap (hey I paid $9.99).

So to my Canadian buddies, where can I find these famous Philips XP bulbs? Also what would be a good replacement bulb for my fog lights (I believe they're H8 bulbs, and they're yellow lenses btw if that changes anything).

Re: Philips XP bulbs

putting XP in ur fog lights is kinda a waste. fogs dont really put light onto the road like a composit (lowbeam) does.

Re: Philips XP bulbs

i dont think philips xp even comes in h8. its only a 35w bulb. and i would not recommend using anything higher due to the fogs not being able to handle the extra heat. h11 bulb can be modded to fit (50w, 1250 lumens) and so can h9 bulb (65w, 2100 lumens) but at your own risk.

9006 philips xp i think aidauto.com still sells em if you search.

Re: Philips XP bulbs

Ok so I won't put them in my fogs. aidauto.com doesn't ship outside the U.S so I'm still hoping someone will chime in on where to get them in Canada

sheeesh... 50w and only 1200lm. what a waste of electricity. a 35w hid can do 3200lm...let alone a 50w hid
