01 Sedan EX electrical problem

Just bought 01 civic sedan used

Okay heres the symptoms

Turn the car off and then on (normal use like you going to a store and coming back to drive away)

pioneer aftermarket radio resets itself
- cant preload any stations

Okay heres the other issues im having.

when the car is shut off something is killing the acc power.

Meaning if i have the key in the ignition in the off setting i can hear the headlight chimmer going off (Headlights are on). Now when i pulling the key out the chimmer goes off, which it should stay on and chim to warn you your lights are on. along with this is when i pulled the after market radio out and had the key in the off position the head lights would chim, but when i unplugged the connection to the plug from the car to the aftermarket radio the chim would shut off but the key is still in the off setting and everything.

I think the radio is messing up something.

Another issues is the power locks
you can lock unlock the doors with the when your driving, but when you exit the car (keys out of the ignition) and put the key in the key hole to lock the all the doors it wont do anything. i usually like to lock the door when i exit the car with the lock button and it doesnt work.

Also the trip A and B seem to reset itself everytime i turn off the car and then go back in to start it again.

so i think something when the car is shut off and you pull the key outof the ignition it kills everything! maybe the radio or something else, I checked the fuses and there all good.

pictures below are for the same wiring harness from a pionner top one is from the 99 sedan ex and the bottom is from the 01. I dont know why the 01 has split from the one connector to the other one then does to the plug connector?

HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! im lost

Re: 01 Sedan EX electrical problem

I know this may sound odd but what is the model number of the Pioneer? Some of the older Pioneer models had some type of like mini alarm or something like that made into them that done a few different things. I can't remember what it was though.

I have one in my truck. I will look this evening to see what the model number on it is
