1)Because he said that it is illegal to have any sort of tint at all
2)He needed to check the transparency in order to issue a ticket, would it be okey if an officer pulled you over and gave you a ticket for doing 45 in a 40 mph zone, and he didnt even have the radar gun out?

as green01civic said, you can't fight city hall, local municipalities, state legislation, federal law unless you have that JD- through conventional means.

Juris Doctorate-aka going to law school. Then once you pass the BAR exam you can practice law, or call yourself a lawyer :P

You need to have case if your going to fight a ticket, which from what I've seen, you don't. I'm being brutally honest here, but there's no real way to say that nicely. If I'm missing something, point it out..

It usually does leave residue. Just use a razor blade or some type of chemical. I'd probably start with brake cleaner. lol. Seriously, just use Windex and super fine steel wool to get it as clean as humanly possible. Nice hot day like today (106) and it should come off in one swipe once you get a corner up (the tint itself).

It was really simple to take off the tint. with the razor blade and a bit of babying it,
no glue no mess, but the tint adhesive did smell bad.
took 20 minutes thats all.
