Question about 2004's

In 2004 did the Civic get the front headlight redesign AND the back lights redesign? I see many Civic's driving around with the 04-05 tails but an 01-03 front. It's so many that it's impossible that they had all done rear tail light conversions. So what's up with these

Re: Question about 2004's

yea in 2004 front and rear got redesigned.. maybe those 01-03 got into a rear end collision and the body shops put on the 04-05 tails instead??

Re: Question about 2004's

You can do a front end swap from 01/03->04/05 but its more indepth. The tail light swap is basically getting newer tails with the bulb harness and rewire.

Re: Question about 2004's

If youre talking about the sedan. The only difference in the tails (I think) are that the 04-05 use a clear red plastic, while the 01-03 use a darker one. Other then that the design is basically identical.

Re: Question about 2004's

I have a 2003 4 door civic with the 04-05 tails. Thats because 01-02 had the older styled ones that were dull as hell and in 03 they gave them new tails. Then the next year (04) they came out with a refreshed front end to go with the tails. All 2003 4 doors are like this..at least in Canada, dunno about U.S. cars. I love them at night, so sexy.

Re: Question about 2004's

i did the swap lol. otherwise the 2003 was the first to come with the updated chrome design. 01-02 used the old block style tails with dull silver reflectors. but yeah 2003 is when they switched tails. same as how the first 03 civic hybrid had them.
