Hey guys! im looking at buying a front and rear type r lip for my 04 civic ex.
Will it fit?

There is no em2/es type-r, so I'm assuming your talking about a cheap ebay lip.

The answer is no, 01-03 lips are not compatible with 04-05. Look into the 99-00 mugen front lip or pdm lip.
