So I've heard that the 2001 OEM coupe lip can be installed on an 01 sedan. Is this true? and what has to be done so that it fits properly?

its true. some new screw holes on the rear lip bottom for better support is recommended. everything else is screw on except the sideskirt mounts which are stick on (make sure you clean the paint with alcohol, apply the stick mounts, wait overnight for the adhesive to cure, then bolt the skirt on).

it should, considering the lip fits over the oem bumper. so you still have the same hole and everything.
