is a 'rock deflector' one of those car "bras"? I'm just not a fan of those, if that is what you are talking about. i wish i had a rock proof windshield. i got a crack allllll the way accross the bottom of mine from one stupid rock chip. ugh.. very depressing.

No its like the wingman like hard plastic that goes over your hood tip. I had to take mine off as it cracked. Been going naked for the past 2 months now. I prefer the look without it too but probably gonna pick up another if i can find a clear or silver one. HAd a massive rock hit my hood last week and left a good size paint chip on my hood. Had to touch it up with touch up paint. Not too happy about that. I bet if i had my rock deflector on, it never would have happened.
Oh gotcha.. yeah, I have seen a few of them on some civics, but i just dont like the look of em. I'm sure they do a good job, from what I have heard, but I dont think I could stand it.
that sux about the paint chip.. i know how ya feel. i need a new windsheild bad. one day the crack was about as wide as a dime, then over about 2 weeks, it made this light "pop" noise when i was drivin and bam. alllll the way across to the other side. ugh, hate it. ill get it fixed one day.
