Been drivin 05 since saturday and must say this one is much quieter and
wayyyy quicker...lol

Only dislike is the center console should swing out of the way
hard to get at seatbelt, will be a bitch with a parka on.

came to look at ol faithfull bought er..

Re: 05 civic Si (canadian)

well now i am wonderin if
my VTEC is kikin in.
I have read it should kik in around 4500 for mine.D17A2

I have also read that you don't really hear or feel any difference
with sohc vtec motor.

I merge onto the 4 lane and get on it up to 6000-6500
i dont hear or feel anything, im haulin azz but dont hear a tone
change it just gets louder as i rev like any other engine.
It's probably fine it is much quicker then my 00 that for sure.

any one with a 05 SI canadian or US EX with D17 what does yours
work like?

Re: 05 civic Si (canadian)

04 EX US model. No sound jump at all like you said. Just a steady linear increase. Can't really feel a power jump either. It's unfortunate, I know lol. But don't forget we're lucky if we're makin 100 whp. Also mine is auto so that doesnt help with feeling any power.
