it's just frustrating, I don't want to spend $550 U.S. on such a silly little part.
look at how similar they are..

Forget that. I'm not spending 80 bucks on the shield... Yea 550 is way too much money for mounts. I'm going to keep my eyes on the kajiiji and craigslist and see if anything pops up. If you guys don't mind keeping an eye in your area for me it would be greatly apprecitaed

I'm pretty friendly with some of the salvage guys here. I bet I could get some off one of them. Can't check till Monday though, they're not open on weekends.

I live near Toronto. There are tons of decent dealers there. Trick is to check the engine out when you get there and I have the ability to go pick it up which is nice. 3700 is very expensive for an engine with 100k kms. Almost not worth swapping to me.

That sucks man... I have my Ford Edge and a trailer I can take to T.O. and pick it up. Worst case scenerio I can always just put it right in the back of the Edge and bring it home. Damn I love the transportability of that car. With the trailer its the equivelant of having a pickup truck. Tons of reputable companies there and the best thing about it is if I have any problems I can go straight to them and get it resolved. If I order it from the states its a hassle to get anything resolved.

^That's an average price, I've seen them go for less than that a few times.
Have you seen my new sticky?

If your ok with Innovative instead of Hasport then these mounts appear to be the cheapest: http://www.hybrid-racing.com/store/i..._store=default

Not sure if those will work with a frankenstein swap though. Or If I'm getting the engine lol.. though I'd love ot.. it would cost 3500+ to install it, and that's if I'm doing it myself.. that's the deterrent right now.

True but all of the civics on CL are slow I've been back and forth with this for a little while I should just buy it... if I decide not to install it I can always sell it for what I bought it for.

Emissions are an issue here too... anyone know of an exhaust setup for a frank swap that will pass emissions? Someone here has an entire RSX exhaust on craigslist for 200 bucks with only 40k on it without the cat... thats not too bad including the exhaust manifold.. will that bolt on to my civic or is modification necissary.. so many questions
