Fuel Filter - De-pressure Fuel Line

I am in the process of removing the head on my 2001 EX to replace the gasket.

1. I need to disconnect the fuel line. I believe the manual said that you can bleed the pressure down at the filter. Where is the filter? I have looked everywhere.

2. I have attached a picture of the mechanical connection on the fuel line. Is there a trick to disconnecting it? If have done this on American cars and have a tool but the connection is different. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Brandon

the filter is in the gas tank, to access it you need to remove the rear seats.

Re: Fuel Filter - De-pressure Fuel Line

Push the green tabs in and pull? Thats how I did it.

I also didn't relieve fuel pressure, so a little bit leaked out.. Oh well. No harm done.

nevertheless, early on in the HG change DIY guide is how to depressurize your fuel system.
