removing driver foot panel

How do i remove the foot panel (02 coupe civic) on the driver side? (the piece where you pop the trunk and whatnot)

maybe his lock broke. the plastic cover over the keyhole pops off, then undo the screw underneath and the whole plastic trim pops out. just yank and the clips will release from the inside and sill area.

yea trying to hide my speaker wires under them couldn't get them out as easily as the passenger side
