Post Aftermarket Nutz??

Hey everyone,

I want to know where/if I can find an aftermaket replacement for
Honda P/N: 90002-S10-000, 10mm Flange Nut aka strut tower nut (6 total)
I found one set that were titanium, and at @$60 a set, was overkill.

I am installing a Nuespeed Front Strut Bar (scored off cwo715, boo-ya!) and im just looking to get something a little more substantial than the rusty, stock flange nuts.

Links would be great!

Thanks everybody!!

Re: Aftermarket Nutz??

Just grab a set of class 8 or better nuts from autozone.. I think I'm using a set of class 10 flanged nuts that i got from autozone's threaded fastener section

Yeah? What do you mean by 'class' 8 or 10? Like torque ratings or something?
And I dont have to know what the thread is? Cause I dont...I take it its by year/make/model or something?

Re: Aftermarket Nutz??

The packages are marked. I think its based off of tensile strength of the fastener. I think red is class 8 (or 8.8.. Something), black is 10.

Bring an old nut in, and you can test fit it on studs that'll tell you what the thread pitch is. If I were at home, I'd hook you up with the thread pitch.

Either that, or drive to autozone with a socket wrench and 10mm socket, when you get there, take off one nut and test fit it. Make sure you put it back before driving off.. Lol
