3rd brake light change

this question is so basic and i feel like an idiot for asking it haha. but i have tried a few times to change the bulb for my 3rd brake light in my 01 civic sedan. For some reason it just does not want to come loose (provided that it twists to come out to get access to the bulb). has anyone else found this, the piece will not come loose for me to gain access to the bulb. anyone else find this problem, any sort of help is appriciated.

cheers,

Jay

Re: 3rd brake light change

My aunt's 2002 Accord LX gave me some trouble when I went to twist the bulb base out.. It took me a while, but it eventually came out.. You just gotta keep at it until it comes out. Just make sure you're twisting in the correct direction (CCW to remove, if I remember correctly)
