Guide: Cleaning Scuff Marks

This was originally posted in club civic by me 2 years ago, thought I'd share it with the CF community since I no longer lurk in CCF

I ignored it at first, then it started getting distracting......
then one day when i was adding some WD40 into my door handle (becuase it was squeeking)
i realized that, if you read the back of the WD40, it says it "Cleans scuffs marks"

so what the hell, i thought i'd give it a try......
and by hell it works like a charm
(dont flame if you already knew this, let me enjoy my moment of discovery)

So i thought, i wonder what else it would work on, and i remember that my door rubber guard things (i dunno what they are called) were dirty and i remember there was no freaking way i could clean them, they were nasty as hell and nothing i did would clean them, so i thought "hey, the WD40 worked, nothing to lose if i give it a try"
and i can say, it is a freaking GODSEND to cleaning them

nothing is worse than having those rubber things dirty as hell on a WHITE car

Here are some pictures, hope this helps some of you guys
(sorry for the freaking ginourmous pix)
(also, i let my car get a little more dirty before i started the cleaning, so i could show the difference more clearly)

Scuff mark (notice how i tried cleaning the area beforehand with no avail)
Before :

After : (sorry if the flash sort of blurred the image, but you can clearly see scuff mark is gone)

Door/Tire rubber guard thing (it wasnt just the water and mud stains, it was deep down stuck on grime)
Before :

After :

WD40 :

Tools used :
WD40
Some paper towels
Some elbow grease
By the way, for the bumper guards, Goo Gone works too
