Lo/Hi beam issue
When switching from lo to hi beams, the lights often go totally off. Sometimes it will stay off for about 5 seconds, then the hi beams kick on. Sometime it works fine. Is this a fuse issue? It happens with both headlights. Sometimes it will switch from lo to hi no problem, but then it will cut out when on hi. Weird.

Sounds like a relay/switch problem

Did you try disconnecting the bulb, and cleaning the connections?
