Hey guys,
I have a 2002 Civic from Canada thats in Km/h. I want to convert it to MPH. I was thinking of buying an MPH cluster/speedometer (w/e its called) and simply swapping it? Would this work? Would things simply convert to MPH by doing this or is there something else I need to swap out too?
Like if I do this and my car showed 100,000 Km for my mileage before the swap, would it automatically show 60,000 mi after the swap to the mph cluster?
Thanks!

02's have dual gauge faces... My US car have MPH in the outer rims and in the inner rims is KPH...
Canadian ones have KPH in the outer rims and MPH in the inner rims... The only difference is the hodometer... 1 mile = 1.6 km conversion if you did not attend your classes... Right in front of your eyes, unless you have aftermarket gauge faces
We can easily get hondas imported to canada thanks to this features among others (i did it, not a year ago).
And the mileage is in the gauge cluster as shwoogie said, so it follows the cluster you get. If found out, it could put you in troubles with the law, BTW... for tampering with actual car mileage!

You could probably get away with buying a gauge face overlay that has both MPH and KPH
my gauge face has MPH in big blue letters (or green, depending on switch position), and KPH in small red lettering.
All of the gauges should be calibrated the same, no?
