I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I drive a 02 civic Ex with 70 miles on it. I tried to do the A/C refill myself, a friend had the wire and I bought the cans but it didn't work. I gave up and went to a local shop to get it refilled for $105, the guy tells me he filled it up but its not working because there is an electrical problem, and that I should drop of my car early in the morning the next day and they would find the problem. It would cost around $500 to open the dash and to find the problem, I told him let me think it over, I still had to pay the $105, because he said he filled it up. Its still blowing out hot air, at first he seemed like an okay guy but in the end he seemed more like shady guy, and I don't want to put more money into it

Can any please tell me what I should do, or what the problem could be. I went to the shop this past Wednesday, I want to go back to confront the guy but I don't know how to go about it, because I don't wanna just go in there cussing the guy out. Any idea's or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

when you turn on the AC do you hear the clutch of AC activating?
