You know what you need to do, your title says it- delete the resonator. This does nothing to your emissions, so don't worry about it being deleted.

Re: magnaflow too quiet with stock resonator

The only way is taking off the resonator but then it will be so loud you will not be able to think so do not do that. Plus your car will be raspy as hell and sound like crap. Your other option is get a real catback exhaust or stay with that. Quite is good, Mine is quite and I love it.

Re: magnaflow too quiet with stock resonator

mate up some 2.25" piping from the cat-back with a resonator somewhere in there.. That'll give you a little bit of sound..

That'll effectively give you an actual cat-back system..

Re: magnaflow too quiet with stock resonator

welll okay , maybe getting custom bent 2.25 inch piping would that help for the sound? or is the any way of upgrading the resonator . i cant really come up with 500 for the magnaflow catback right now.

Re: magnaflow too quiet with stock resonator

Getting piping custom bent will prolly run you that much.. I'd just save the money and do it right instead of spending hella more money in the long run on 2 different exhaust setups..

Re: magnaflow too quiet with stock resonator

heyyy , one more question . My exhaust guy told me it was the stock resonator taking all the sound away before it reachs the muffler . i can get a magnaflow resonator for 67 dollars shipped . Would that help for adding sound at all ? appreciate all the input!
