I have a Honda Civic that I bought when it had around 148,000 miles. I have no information on if the belt had been previously changed, and I am now up to 155,000 miles. Due to the car being fine, and no belts breaking, is it likely the belt has most likely been changed? Can a timing belt even get up to 155k miles without breaking? I mean, what the chances of that? I don't see it even possible. I am just curious if the fact that I have had no problems with it at this mileage would most likely mean it has been changed? I appreciate any help and advice.
Also, what would some signs be I can notice if the belt was maybe getting close to replacing time? Thanks.

It could of been changed but you never know with people these days. Most people dont know how to keep care of there car. Take the valve cover off and everything and look at it and see if it is really worn cracked or anything. I guess this is the only way you can really tell.
