is 1600watts amp 2 much for my 03 stock civic?????

Hi i bought 3 subs yesterday 800watts each can i run 2 of them in my 03 civic with a 1600 amp and not have any problems like my lights dimming or something of that sort my car is all stock as well

no they are going to dim you need upgrades bigger battery,big 3, capacitor.

yea i got a JL 1000V2 amp pushing out 1000W RMS into 3 12" alpine type R subs. it's all he base i want and then some. i set off car alarms in the parking lot. one of my orgional goals :P

These upgrades will do ya just fine for three subs, just make sure you get 1 farad for every 1000 watts you use for a capacitor. So you are looking for a 2 farad capacitor. Good Luck!
