Re: help on headers!!!!

first off u dun say if u have a lx/dx or an ex. there is a big diff. the lx/dx has the cat included as part of the header plus there is a differance in the exhaust path of the lx/dx an the ex. 99% of headers on there cars r a waste of time an money. i had the dc sports 4-1 header on my car an i lost mpg. dc makes a 4-2-1 race header that is pretty sik. its biggest down fall is that it deletes the cat. i dunno where u live but that is a big issue in most places. plus its pretty expensive. i did c a decent gain up top with the race header like 6-8 hp. some people use the cheapo ebay headers with out issue but most of them r crap an not worth the time or money. ur really not gunna c much if any power unless u go wit a race header like the dc. if u have a ex model i can c if my old dc 4-1 header is in my storage unit. pay for shipping an its urs. lol its just takin up space. i hope this info helps!

Re: help on headers!!!!

More Info Please. DC makes good cats, or you can always get an ebay one and paint it or ceramic coat it. That's the best thing to do economically

Re: help on headers!!!!

Yeah if you got an EX, you can get a cheap ebay header, and be fine. You are not really going to get much from a header anyway unless like the two before me said, you go with a full 4-2-1 dc header that down pipe and cat deletes. Cause our down pipe is not as big around in circumference as it may look. "Knowledge courtesy of Spoodfoos! Thanks!" So even if you get a 4-1 shorty header, your still bottle necking at the down pipe.

Re: help on headers!!!!

Yes but never forget, these cars NEED backpressure. You will actually lose power if you take it away.
