Re: tint or smoke kit.

for what? if tails, go with a spray tint and clear coat. if windows, go with a tint film. you can also go with thick film for the tails, www.headlightarmor.com but do not use window tint on the outside of the car, it will get ruined.

Re: tint or smoke kit.

What ever you do make sure you prep the area carefully and take your time to do it right.

Nothing ruins your whip like a lazy tint job.

Re: tint or smoke kit.

VHT niteshades is a good spray tint, and you can use a polishing compound to slowly remove layers if you find that its too dark. after you get it polished and shiny to the color you want, spray a few coats of clear to seal it in.

Re: tint or smoke kit.

no i had it done by a pro. takes alot of experience and a good place to do it. i tried once and its very frustrating. forget about cutting the tint yourself, it will look terrible. even with the cheap quality precuts, it really takes skill to apply it right without creasing or bending it too much. most place dont even charge that much. i paid $250 for mine 5 yrs ago, but i just had the accord done for only 150 with 3m tint and lifetime warranty. looks great.
