Kinda need 2 people for this, but pull the coil and spark plug out, insert the spark plug into the coil pack, plug in the coil pack, hold the end of the spark plug close to a metal surface (exhaust manifold, frame, etc.), have someone turn the engine over.. if it arcs to the metal surface and makes a cracking sound, you got spark.

Go back and check all your connections, especially the throttle body and fuel. Make sure everything is hooked up and properly too. Something is amiss here. Did you replace the oil in the engine? Have you replaced the spark plugs? If you got a small spark then something might be wrong with the electrical system. I mean, it shouldn't be a huge spark but it should be very easy to see.

this is fuking baffling me man.. hah.. I kinda wanna figure out what's going on because I have a low milage engine (I was told <1000 miles, and by the looks of the engine, it's that new) sitting around waiting for a happy tranny to come in to my possession before it goes in.. If you get it to work, let us know what kinda voodoo magic you used.

^^ lol that sucks. are the injectors um injecting fuel? that would be the next step in the line for checking fuel. especially since you have spark and compression

lol, ok i only see 3 grounds, the one from the motor to radiator support, the one from the battery terminal to the body and then to the tranny, any other grounds.. i dont see them, the spark is very weak tho all you see is the little tip of the spark plug igniting.

i still say it sounds like he isnt gettin fuel. he said he tested for spark an is gettin it. he didnt say how long the car sat while the swap was dun but its possible he has a cloged fuel line somewhere.

for the 3rd time, i say, check the injectors. fuel makes it to the fuel rail. spark is there and compression is there. still no start means fuel is not there. the only thing between the rail and the cylinder in terms of fuel is the injector. check it.
