So i may be selling my 04 civic and picking up a 1979 datsun 280z in the near future.
thoughts?
Obviously needs a little work, but seems like a sturdy car

I never realized how huge the nose of those cars was.
Personally, I wouldn't do it. I'm too accustomed to my trouble free everything just works Civic to go with a classic 31 year old car that probably has had every part replaced, but thats just me.
Now... that white 3rd Gen Accord in the background... I'd go for that!

Yeah.. not for a daily man. Those are sweet cars, I've always had a soft spot for the classic Z's. However, it's not a daily driver anymore. Those cars need to be restored and garaged to keep them from rusting into oblivion.

i've been helping a friend of mine with his 86 300zx. he's got a turbo and an n/a. the n/a is a rust bucket. the turbo has some rust coming in. and things are just going wrong again and again. it'll be up and running soon tho. old z's are just not daily drivers.
