Time belt

i was just wondering A) is changing the timing belt something that is doable at home if so how is it done? B)how can i check the condition of the belt and C) i just hit 130K and im pretty sure that it has not been changed ever

Im not experiencing any problems as far as timing goes and im sure there isnt very many warning signs to a bad belt or one that is getting ready to go, but i know 130K is pushing it and its been waying on me heavily. I know a broking belt is very damaging if not terminating to the engine
