Can it be done? YES
Are there mods required to do it? YES
Will the car look good with them? NO
Will the car be faster with them? NO
Will the car be slower with them? YES
Will I use more gas? YES
Will I accelerate the degradation of my suspension? YES
Is it worth it? ?Well that is up to you.

I have seen it done tastefully on some Civics. I only like them on Sedans though. If he can afford 20 inch rims & tires, I'm sure he can afford the maintenance that comes with it (brakes, tires, gas, custom work,Etc..)
Since you're going for Show, then I suggest you get a clean bodykit with those 20's or a lip kit. And lower it enough to cover the wheel gap & so it wont look like a 4x4. Honestly, just get 19's.

If you decide to go with 20's. Then get a clean bodykit to go with it. Remember these things: Acceleration, gas mileage, stopping power/braking, rubbing, turning diameter, Etc. 20's are bigger & heavier, Your Speedometer will be off too.
I like it on Show cars but if it's just a daily driver then

I have 20's but the turning radius sucks lol. I also have 17x 9.5 +5 Cosmis. I would feel more safe on the 17's. I would pop on the 20's for local car meets though.

@duh_R18 ...
Two things:
- This is a 12 year old thread... Don't need to revive for just a comment...
- You have a 8th/9th generation car, this thread is about 7th generation cars... different space inside wheel wells.

2 things
1.I dont care its an old thread. Just commenting on where I wanted to. Didnt know there was a rule about posting on old threads. Seems like its all dead here anyways.
2. Im not commenting to revive a thread. I could care less about reviving a thread. I guess its against rules to post anything on here
