Transmission Fluid on the bottom of Trans

Hi,
I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX, 213k miles. I have had a small amount of automatic transmission fluid on the bottom of the trans for as long as I can remember. I remember bringing to a mechanic friend when I had the car for a few months and he said, "Transmissions sweat ". I thought nothing of it. I still have the same behavior 12 years later. I have never topped off the trans fluid and the car runs flawlessly. Any idea what it could be?

Matt

Sure it's ATF? Wipe it off. See where is is coming from. Check the end boots on the end of the steering rack.
